Pelican International becomes the official kayak sponsor of the 2016 Kayak Bass Series

Laval, Quebec, Canada, January 18, 2016 – Pelican International, the world’s largest plastic boat maker, today announced that it has become the official kayak sponsor of the 2016 Kayak Bass Series (KBS), featuring nine tournament stops, February to September. A new Pelican Catch 120 fishing kayak will be given away at each KBS tournament. In addition, tournament competitor Nadine Keris will be fishing from a Pelican Catch 120 kayak.

“We are very excited to be the official KBS kayak sponsor. The explosive growth of kayak fishing, coupled with the launch of the Catch 120, a competitively-priced Pelican Premium angler kayak, makes this an ideal time for us to get involved with such a great tournament series,” said Vincent Bedard, Pelican Director of Marketing and Communications.

“We’re proud to have Pelican as the official kayak sponsor for the 2016 Kayak Bass Series season. With the wide range of fishing kayaks offered, the Pelican product line and brand is a great fit for our diverse competitor base,” said Terry Manley, Kayak Bass Series Tournament Director.

Available in participating stores across North American in 2016, the Pelican Catch 120 is a new 12-foot fishing kayak offering the best value in its class.
