The POSEIDON kayak paddle offers great value for low-angle paddlers. Low-angle paddling will reduce shoulder fatigue and help you cover greater distances with less effort. The two-piece aluminum shaft with push button makes it easy to store and transport your paddle. Fiberglass reinforced polypropylene blades with a 0-65° blade angle adjustment creates a stiffer blade and provides a more efficient and comfortable paddling experience. Plus you'll keep your hands dry thanks to our drip rings.

Functionalities & Materials

Length 230Cm (90.5 In.): This quality paddle is ideal for recreational paddlers between 5'0" and 6'0" in kayaks between 28" and 32" wide.

Durable And Affordable: The POSEIDON kayak paddle consists of a two-piece aluminum shaft with a push-button and fiberglass reinforced polypropylene blades. The blades ensure better durability and performance on the water. It offers excellent value for money.

Ovalization: It offers a unique ergonomic shaft design. The right side of the shaft changes from a rounded shape to a slightly oval shape that tells you where to place your hand. It's called indexing, which promotes proper technique that decreases wrist fatigue.

Foam: Inside the paddle, there are 2 additional flotation blocks allowing the paddle to float. This way, you will have no problem retrieving your paddle if it ends up in the water.

Convenient: Drip rings are installed at each end of the paddle. These rings will help keep your hands dry by preventing water from running down the shaft.

Performance: The push button system allows the blades to be feathered with a 0/65° angle. Paddling with offset blades will reduce the wind resistance of your top blade as it moves through the air. It ensures an optimized and more comfortable paddling experience.

Blades Design: This kayak paddle is designed for low-angle paddlers. The blades are narrow and long, making them more comfortable for occasional and long-distance paddlers. They will reduce fatigue in the shoulders and help you cover longer distances with less effort.

Key Features

The shape of your blade is critical and goes back to whether you prefer a low-angle or high-angle paddling style. Low-angle blades are narrow and long, making them more comfortable for casual and long-distance paddling. On the other hand, high-angle blades are short and wide, which promotes speed and maximum power with each paddle stroke.

For budget-friendly paddling combined with maximum durability, choose the 240 cm POSEIDON made of fibreglass reinforced polypropylene. It offers excellent performance and durability and is more affordable than carbon fibre paddles, and will suit recreational paddlers who regularly get out on the water. It also provides a little more flexibility than plastic paddles, making it more shock-resistant and practical if you are paddling near rocks or in shallow water.

Easily adjust the blades on your 240 cm POSEIDON paddle with its built-in blade angle adjustment that allows you to tilt the blades from 0 to 65 degrees. A paddle with angled blades makes it easier for you to propel yourself through the water while reducing the wind resistance of the upper blade when it is moving out of the water.

Gauge the Materials

Having a lighter paddle allows you to extend your time on the water and paddle with less fatigue. Shaving off a pound may not seem like much but it adds up over the course of several hours of paddling and thousands of strokes.

More rigid materials offer better paddling performance and easily convert your efforts into motion to propel you forward. In contrast, more flexible materials do not hold their shape as well as they move through the water, which decreases the efficiency of the paddle, requiring more strokes to cover the same distance.

With a few exceptions, high-quality materials are generally more robust and impact-resistant than lower-quality materials.
